Positive Emotional Wellbeing
London Framework for Children and Young People's Emotional Health and Wellbeing - Issues paper

We are asking you to help the London Health Commission (LHC) develop a London Framework for Children and Young People's Emotional Health and Wellbeing.

Please download the issues paper

The consultation closed on 18 April and we are now reviewing the responses. They will be used to inform the development of the framework and also assist in planning a workshop to set the direction for what the framework should cover and generate suggestions for how it might look.

Although this round of the consultation process has now closed please continue to submit your views and suggestions and we will try to include them as the framework develops.

We have chosen to develop this framework both to take forward actions in the Mayor's Children and Young People's Strategy (January 2004), and because London needs a holistic regional strategy for children's emotional wellbeing that supports and enhances the comprehensive strategies for children's and adolescents' mental health services (CAMHs) currently being developed, as part of the Every Child Matters: Change for Children Programme.
